Hey Monirath! Please verify that your FILTER range covers the entire dataset, including potential new rows, and check for consistent data types and formats. If your formula uses absolute row references, adjust them to accommodate potential data expansions. Clear existing filters, as they can interfere with new data display.

First of all, thanks for this tutorial. I have a question. I used this filter function in one of my Google Sheets file and at one point, the function stops working. It does not update new rows with data. I checked and I have the row number as infinite. So no row limit. Have you ever come across this issue? How to deal with it?

Is it possible to edit the filtered results and have it change the original cells value?
So if I filter everybody from Iowa, but Kathy is actually from New York, can I change that in the filtered results or do I have to find her in the original data?

Very clear and a very useful function.
I have tried to use it to obtain data (a range) from another sheet that is in another workbook, but surely I am doing something wrong putting the syntax of the range (url and range). I have even tried using “importrange” inside the filter function, but I have not managed to bring the data and filter it (if it comes from another sheet that is in another book).
